A poem by Ajax Minor

Peering through time’s shredded scrim,

I glimpse ghosts.

Not even.

Shards of ghosts.

Some splinter off tears and slice the tender flesh of time’s eye,

Others are like bits of chocolate that settle on the tongue’s tip and then melt.

Unrecoverable,

Bittersweet.
